Overhead traveling cranes and stacker cranes

For many years, KOLB Sp. z o.o. has been a supplier of rack stacker cranes designed for high-bay warehouses. We have a workshop equipped for the production of large-sized welded beams, together with qualified personnel and the company’s “know-how” in their production. For the purposes of measuring and checking the manufactured beams, we have a 3D Laser Tracker with a range of 50 meters.

Civil structures

For many years, KOLB Sp. z o.o. has been supplying steel structures primarily for the construction industry. Our long-term activity in the field of production and assembly of civil structures and general contracting have resulted in a wide range of products in this field. Based on the technical documentation provided by the client, we manufacture steel hall structures, supporting structures, maintenance platforms, stairs, ladders and handrails.

Sheet metal cutting and bending

Thanks to a machinery park equipped with modern cutting and bending machines, our company provides high-quality thermal cutting and sheet metal bending services.

Production capabilities of our thermal cutting machines:

– LASER sheet 17,9 x 3,2 m for sheets with a maximum thickness of 25 mm

–  LASER Punching machine STRIPPIT sheet 1,5 x 3,0 m for sheets with a maximum thickness of 6 mm

– PLASMA sheet 13 x 2 m for sheets with a maximum thickness of 120 mm

Production capacity of bending machines:

– pressure of 200 t

– bending length of 4 m.

We offer carbon and stainless steel as well as aluminum components. We also offer surface preparation (heating) and edge preparation of parts (beveling, rounding).

Corrosion protection

We offer corrosion protection of manufactured structures with paint coatings or hot-dip galvanizing. At the customer’s request, we also perform coating with powder paints or intumescent paints which are fire-resistant.

For the preparation of surfaces for paint coatings, we have a pass-through shot blasting machine with a window size of 1.5 x 0.5 m and a shot-blasting machine chamber with dimensions of 15 x 4 x 4 m. Steel components are painted in a paint shop with dimensions of 40 x 15 x 4.25 m.
